hey everyone
So I've had Esther and Xerxes for about 3 or 4 months now and i am pretty sure that Esther is a boy, i wanted to breed them but they haven't done anything.... i'll have to get her professionally checked :-/
so if she is a boy his name will be either Ezekiel or hmmmm i don't know maybe Marvin hehe that would be cute!.... if you have any suggestions please comment!
i have been trying to clean both cages every other day but i guess i am just not disciplined yet, but i find that when you imagine yourself in your guinea pigs shoes (hypothetically speaking) you would not want to be stepping in your own poo all day :p
i also turn on the radio because doing things with music on is much more fun than doing it in silence but it depends on what you prefer.
i noticed a big knot in Esther/Ezekiel/? 's hair yesterday evening when i was cleaning their cages so i am going to try and cut that out later, they do need their nails trimmed as well... so i'll just have to spend a while grooming them, i'm sure carla and delilah need a good bath and a nail trim as well because if a guinea pigs nails get to long then it will be very hard for them to walk.
did you know that the longest living guinea pig was 14 years, 10.5 months.! it's owner must have taken very good care of it!
